“LeBron James Receives Heartfelt Congratulations from Gloria James and His Family Foundation in NBA Success”

LeBron James has accomplished an incredible feat by surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record of 38,387 points. It’s not uncommon for athletes to receive recognition for their achievements, but what makes LeBron’s achievement even more special is his mom, Gloria James, and the LeBron James Family Foundation sending him a congratulatory video. This heartfelt message was undoubtedly the highlight of his milestone.

LeBron James’ mother recently appeared in a relaxed Instagram video wearing an L.A. Lakers t-shirt, expressing how proud she is of her son’s athletic achievements. The video showcased images of James and his foundation’s program, I Promise, which has been providing life-changing support to young people and their families in Akron since 2011. James had always been determined to give back to the community that had supported him and his mother before he even won an NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The LJFF I Promise Program, named after the promise made by James and the children to themselves, their families, and their community, has expanded over the years to provide an array of supportive services such as transitional housing, long-term housing, a health center, and a job-training and community center. James’ mother considers this “the best part of it all” and hinted at more philanthropic works to come.

LeBron James’ mother recently shared her immense pride in her son’s remarkable achievements, stating that she believes there are truly no limits to what he can accomplish. This sentiment was also echoed by the students of the I Promise program and the Akron community, who declared February 8th as a special holiday known as LeBron James Day. The I Promise school, which provides an education to at-risk children, along with the I Promise Program, is making an incredible impact within the Akron Public Schools District. Students who successfully complete specific academic goals and engage in community service become eligible for a four-year college scholarship. Moreover, the foundation offers additional wrap-around services such as the I Promise Too program for parents of active students who desire to earn their GED. Furthermore, the House Three Thirty multi-use center for education, job training, and community gatherings, is expected to open its doors soon. In addition, the foundation is planning to establish I Promise HealthQuarters, a primary care health center catering to program participants as well as the Akron community.
